I bought a new camera the other day....oh yes I did.....and is it good? Oh yes it. In fact it's magnificant. I'm still getting to grips with the size after giving up my beautiful Olympus C-740UZ to me mum.
Expect to see a lot more new images here soon. I hope I do the camera justice. It truly is awesome.

Deviant of the Month

I have decided to run a Deviant of the Month column. Without doubt my first choice has to be *roy204. Out of all the amazing deviants I have seen out there, *roy204 has always been a longstanding favourite of mine. He is able to produce fantasticaly clean images which are still rich in texture and colour.

Perhaps most fantastic of all are his landscape photos which leave me breathless. So vivid are these pictures that you can almost smell the clean air. *roy204 has helped me develop my own photography in so many ways. By constantly challenging me to find new ways to photograph every day objects *roy204 has helped me attain a much higher standard in my own photography.

*roy204 is helped by the fact that he does not seem to be tied down to a particular format or type of photography, mixing experimental with classic, portrait with landscape, * roy204's photography has you coming back for more everytime.

I still can't understand how I hadn't heard of *pecchio before I did. With a fantastic gallery and a real natural talent for all things photographic, this gallery is a must see.

One of his latest deviations entitled Breathing Art describes exactly what * pecchio's are does, breathe. It fills me with a renewed sense of worth and challenges me to go out and take better shots.

*pecchio has rather a dreamlike appearence to a lot of his shots, something which I must admit I have still to dabble with, but *pecchio seems to have mastered it.

I'm coming back people
Having been away from DA for a little while, I'm pleased to say I'm back. I hope to be adding a whole lot more pics when I do them I want to say a big thank-you to *roy204 for all his help and support.

I'd like to thank all those who have helped me out and supported my work from the beginning, it meas a lot. I hope to be a lot more active, and include a friends list soon.

My Deviant of the Week

Having come across *Anahita a little while back, I thoght it only fair to comment on her amazing skill and subtle complexity. Her work is so clean and always of the highest quality.

The first work I ever saw by *Anahita was Incomplete Dream. Check her gallery out if you want to see it. The contrasting colours were so intense that I was immediately drawn to viewing the full image and it did not dissapoint.

Few people have been able to capture my attention more than this talented deviant. True she has had much attention, but this has not seemed to sway her images which continue to be top quality. Over I would just like to say, although I am a small fish in the Deviant Art world. Your work rocks * Anahita.
